CHRISTMAS

I love Christmas and this year we were lucky to have Blake's parents with us on Christmas morning! It was so much fun seeing Owen open presents although he got side tracked very quickly, especially when he got candy!

AND WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE HE WOULD RATHER PLAY WITH AN OLD TOY ANYWAY!!!

SANTA CAME TO TOWN!

Our cute neighbor dresses up as Santa every year for Sub for Santa and he asked me if we wanted him to come see Owen afterwards...so I said ABSOLUTELY! We loves these neighbors!

Owen wasn't sure about sitting on his lap!!

But Ella was game!!!

Then Santa busted out the candy and Owen was persuaded to sit on his lap!

GRANDPA AND GRANDMA COME TO VISIT!

We love when they come to visit and we are lucky enough to have them here for a while!

You might be wondering if this is the only face Owen makes and the answer is no! He does smile but this one always seems to come out for the camera! SCARY!

Ella is now officially three months old!

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

I was able to get out the other night with some girlfriends and go see the movie Twilight! Loved it! It was sure nice of Blake to watch both the kids and put both of them to bed. It was very relaxing to not have to juggle a car seat on one arm and try to direct Owen at the same time! Although half way through the movie I was kind of sad I missed bedtime...but I got over it quickly! Did anyone else think the running scenes with Edward were low budget..also the tree jumping but I loved it all the same!

LET IT SNOW

I got our Christmas tree up. It makes me feel very festive!

We haven't had much snow yet but this morning it snowed for 20 minutes and Blake and Owen went out to try to catch some snow flakes on their tongues!

STARTING A TRADITION.....OR NOT!

We decided to start a tradition by cutting down our Christmas trees. It was really fun but I guess we didn't pick a real good one because it was practically dead when we got it home. It was dropping 1000 needles by the second. So this tree is definitely not going in my house..am I a scrooge or what!!!!

Owen loved watching his dad cut down the tree.

ELLAS TWO MONTHS OLD

Ella is officially two months old!! I can't believe it! She was 11 pounds and 22.5 inches at her doctors appointment. She apparently has a semi-flat head on the right side and the doctor told me to start making her head go the other way while sleeping with the help of a receiving blanket. He said if it doesn't get corrected she could have to wear a helmet!! I think she will be alright. She is smiling a ton and loves tummy time-well at least the first 2 minutes of it! She seems a bit more chunky to me than Owen was.

FUNNY STORY

I got to go to Vegas this last weekend to see a close friend get married. I flew out on Sat. morning and flew back that night. When I was going through security I had my breast pump with me. I put it on the conveyor belt and then continued on through like I was suppose to. I waited what seemed like forever for my items to come through. Finally I looked up at the man examining the items and he just had this puzzled look on his face. Then he says to me-is this some sort of Rubik's cube game? Trying not to laugh I said-no its a breast pump. I guess he couldn't hear me because he said-what? Then I repeated-it's a breast pump! He turned a deep shade of red and said-oh um um okay you can go! I think he was pretty embarrassed but it just made me laugh!

ELLA GETS BLESSED

We blessed Ella this Sunday and it was great! Blake did such a nice job!

Owen loves to hold his sister now. All we have to do is ask, "Do you want to hold Ella?" and he jumps up onto the couch with a huge smile!
