We decided to start a tradition by cutting down our Christmas trees. It was really fun but I guess we didn't pick a real good one because it was practically dead when we got it home. It was dropping 1000 needles by the second. So this tree is definitely not going in my house..am I a scrooge or what!!!!
Owen loved watching his dad cut down the tree.

We used to do that when we were young and loved it. I don't think I would allow the tree in my house either, I wouldn't want to have to vacuum the needles up every second and I'd be worried about the fire hazard. You know me, Miss OCD. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Maybe you will find a better tree next year. What are you going to do with the tree now?
Ok, that tree don’t look so bad. (Look at me looking on the bright side of things.) Oh, and seriously your house what a NOT a mess, you will have to stop by my house one of these days unannounced and then you will see a mess!!!!!!!!! Let’s get together super soon!
I had a real tree one year and I hated all the pine needles so I use a fake one.
We do that every year since i can remember my mom loves it and all of us just laugh our heads off cause when you get them home they are crooked and sparse.. like charlie brown tree's. It is fun though. PS call me!
