NEW DEVELOPMENTS

Ella started clapping yesterday! It was so cute and unexpected..I don't think Owen clapped till he was much older. They are completely different. Owen was also very skinny but with Ella I have some chunk..and oh how I love it! Ella is also crawling now and she is picking up cheerios and putting them in her mouth! She loves them.

ELLA EIGHT MONTHS OLD:

*She can grab and pick up a Cheerio
*Starting to crawl much better
*Starting to pull herself up to stand
*Clapping her hands
*Laughs at every thing
*Jabbers all day long

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

SO I recently posted about a sink for outside that Owen could play with..well I knew it was too good to be true.. I set it up this morning and he was having a blast outside and I was getting dishes done..UNTIL I heard this AWFUL sound. The pump to the faucet was making this awful sound and not pumping any water. Needless to say I'll be returning that to Costco immediately! But I will be making a stop at Toys R us to find some kind of replacement..minus a faucet..I don't want to deal with that again!

WHERE HAS MY BABY GONE????

SERIOUSLY.....where has my baby boy gone?? Who is that standing there all BIG? The only thing that makes me feel a little better is that he is carrying both his bunnies!! I can't stand how fast time goes! BOOOOO!!

A GREAT DAY

Went to the zoo today. This gal was waving at me!

Owens favorite part is the monkeys. He could watch them all day.

It was a great day to go to the zoo..not cold and not hot! Owen kept trying to give his sister food..stinker!

I HEART ELLA!

Ella can always make me smile..there is definitely something about little girls that just makes me smile!

THE BEST INVENTION EVER!

Owen is absolutely OBSESSED with playing in the sink so you can imagine my glee as I spotted this beauty in Costco! It is a sink with a faucet and the best part is it is an OUTSIDE toy!! My prayers have been answered!!

MOTHERS DAY

I took a moment yesterday to just reflect. I am now blessed to have two children. It seems like I am always in a hurry...if any of you know country music my life reminds me of that song that goes "I rush and rush until life's no fun"! But yesterday as I was nursing Ella I looked down at her chubby hands, her perfect ears, her bright blue eyes, her fair skin..and I couldn't help but tear up. I am always saying I can't wait until she gets a bit older..but at that moment I just prayed that she would stop growing. I wanted to be able to hold her forever. Motherhood is definitely not the easiest job but it is the BEST job I have ever had. And yeah I lose my patience and yeah my house isn't always clean..but my children know I love them..I'm sure of THAT! All you mothers out there who might be reading this I say HAPPY MOTHERS YEAR!! You deserve it!

UNEXPECTED TREAT!

Not only was yesterday a great BEAUTIFUL spring day BUT we also went down to Blake's work to eat lunch with him. That rarely happens! We decided to walk around temple square after lunch. Right when we saw the temple Owen shouted "LOOK the temple!" My heart pretty much melted!!

HEAVEN?

I'm pretty sure Owen has died and gone to heaven. The city is in the process of putting in a sidewalk on one of our streets. That means diggers, cement trucks, etc!!! Owen LOVES it! I'm NOT as thrilled especially at nap time with all that noise!
