We tried to have some fun in my sisters backyard with this huge blowup water slide but Owen hated it! I'm pretty sure it was just that he didn't feel well. Then on Monday we took him to the beach. He LOVED playing in the sand! He could of played all day. We also walked down to the pier and there was a huge family of seals playing in the water with thousands of pelicans flying over head. That was my favorite part of the day!

You captured some great moments here. My kids love the beach too, I think it's the sand. We just build them a sand box out back and they just roll around in it, and then they track sand all over the place. But it's worth it cause they will seriously play out there forever! Weather permitting of course. You need to bring Owen over, he'll love it! So sorry he got sick. I hope he's feeling better. Poor kid. I'll bet your mom was in heaven, you all being together like that. What a great gift!
