Every year we make a trip to California. This year we spent two weeks there. The first week we spent in Newport beach in the Marriott timeshares. It was so nice to stay in a place that also had a pool. The kids loved swimming in the morning and going to the beach in the afternoon. Blake's parents also were visiting California with the Bostons. We all went to Disneyland together. The second week of our vacation we stayed in Oceanside in a house on the beach. The Bowcutt's joined us. Having the cousins to play with makes the trip so much fun.
Tessa's birthday is August 23 but since we had gone to the same restaurant when Ella was three we wanted to go again for Tessa. They loved the balloons.
We would go down to the ocean at night and the kids would love searching and digging for sand crabs. It is one of our favorite memories of the beach.
